Strengths

  • Front dual-fork suspension — rare under $1,000 and a big comfort win on cracked pavement.
  • Lightest premium-commuter at 41 lb — easy to carry up stairs.
  • 900W peak motor punches hard off the line and climbs hills.
  • Self-healing gel-lined tubeless tires reduce flat risk.
  • Apollo's reputable in-house service network and warranty.

Weaknesses

The Apollo Air 2024 is the ride-quality pick in the premium commuter category. Front dual-fork spring suspension is rare under $1,000, and Apollo’s brand reputation for build quality and customer service has held up over a decade.

The 900W peak motor pulls noticeably harder than the F65’s 700W peak — quicker acceleration to 20 mph, better hill climbing. The trade-off is range: 31 miles real-world is meaningfully shorter than the F65’s 40+.

At 41 lbs the Air is the lightest scooter in this tier — if you carry it up stairs or onto transit regularly, that’s a real advantage. If you ride further than 25 miles round-trip and your roads are smooth, the F65’s range advantage matters more. If you ride shorter distances on rough pavement, the Air is the better pick.

Note: “Apollo Air Pro” was a 2021 model and is discontinued. The current Air-line product is the Apollo Air 2024 documented here.
